Dang!!!!  I gained 1/2 a pound.
Well, not to worry.  I will set new goals. Utilize my "MapMyWalk" app more often.  Make every step count for me.  Eat better and healthier.  Drink more water.

Next weigh in
April 20th.
Come cheer me on.  Leave an inspiring comment on my page, PLEASE?????

This reminds me of a TV show that I watched recently.  It is called, "My 600 pound life."  Anyone ever see that show?  At first, you ask yourself, "How does a person get to be that big?"  Then you ask yourself, "How does that person work to lose it?"

Ah, that is the interesting part.  The show is really sad at first, but what an inspiration.  This one gal wanted to lose the weight.  Her boyfriend had passed away because he was overweight and the doctors told her that she was not far behind if she didn't lose her weight.  She was faced with her children becoming wards of the court if she passes.

That was enough for her to start working on her health and quit giving in to food being her "Happy Place."

She went to the doctor and he told her what she needed to do.  She left and was faced with a tough and hard first month.  She wanted to have the gastric bypass surgery, but she had to show her interest and willingness to get the surgery by losing weight first.

After her first month of dealing with the thoughts of her children not having their Mom, the fact that they had already lost their Dad and that she found food to make her happy, she went back to the doctors for her weigh-in.  She stepped on the scale....the TV audience waited...the look on her face was astonishment.  Did she lose some weight?

No, in fact, she had gained weight.  A total of a 19 pound weight gain.
How devastating that must have felt.

But, she didn't give up!!!!!

She kept on her regimen.
She changed her eating habits.
She walked more.
She joined a gym.
She began drinking more water.
By 6 months she had lost over 100 pounds.

What an inspiration!  I wish that I could have followed her more.  So, instead, I am making my own story here.  I may not need to lose several hundred pounds, but I need to lose close to 100.  I want to be healthier.

Please help me by being my inspiration, okay?

APRIL WEIGH-IN
APRIL 20, 2014

TOTAL DISSAPPOINTMENT!!!!!  TO SAY THE LEAST!!!!

I weighed in...feeling pretty good about myself, but at the same time thinking that I was in for a not too high number in the losers category.

I was right.  One pound....one meesley little pound.  That's all I lost.  After all that work, that's all I've lost.

Well, does that mean I quit?  Nope!!!
Means I work harder!!!

Means I become accountable for not only the workouts that I do, but I also keep track of the food I eat.

May will be a better month.  New eating habits....new ideas....new ME!!!!
